If you’re interested in writing for Fortune 100 companies, Sagac Public Affairs is seeking a copywriter to enhance the company’s creative services. This position is responsible for working with the lead copywriter to create copy that works with visual concepts generated by the creative team. The copywriter will learn to write internal communications for the firm’s clients in a tone suitable for each of their brand styles and audiences. The copywriter will also be responsible for proofing all content created for the firm and its clients. This position requires working closely with the lead copywriter and creative team to generate innovative content ideas for a diverse national client base.
Functional Description:
Work on multiple national accounts to develop copy for emails, campaigns, ads, brochures, websites, videos, social media and other marketing materials.
Work with client services and the creative team to develop innovative approaches to copy projects.
Proof and edit all copy in accordance with AP Style before sending projects to clients for review.
Develop marketing content for the firm’s website, blog, social media, email campaigns, etc.
Research clients, brands, policy issues and industries to identify compelling content for each account.
Understand the messages and tones clients seek to express by joining external calls and internal meeting discussions.
Your Skills:
Highly organized.
Attention to detail, ensuring content is accurate and factual.
Ability to meet strict deadlines for a high volume of projects without compromising work quality.
Flexible approach and willingness to adapt work to the needs of the clients.
Ability to receive constructive criticism and have work frequently edited.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in professional writing, journalism, English, or advertising.
Minimum 1 year experience in a related field.
Exceptional writing and editing skills.
